Important Notices regarding Travel, Construction and Renovations at various Disney Vacation Club Resorts and Theme Parks:

Know Before You Go

Guests that do not have a park ticket tied to their My Disney Experience account cannot make a Park Pass reservation. Guests without a Park Pass reservation will not have access to the Walt Disney World theme parks.

Park tickets and access to the parks through Disney's Park Pass System are outside of the DVCR Rental Agreement; these items are the sole responsibility of the guest.


April 19th 2022 - Update to Walt Disney World's Face Covering Policy:

Face coverings are optional for guests in both outdoor and indoor locations, as well as Disney transportation. Disney recommends guests who are not fully vaccinated continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters, and on enclosed transportation.

Walt Disney World Dining

Walt Disney World has shifted from a 180-day booking window to a 60-day booking window for dining and experience bookings. This shift to a 60-day booking window is designed to allow Guests to make their plans closer to their visits.

Travel Notice Regarding the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel has reopened and is once again welcoming guests and owners to their resort.  As part of the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel's phased reopening process, restaurants, amenities, and other offerings may be modified or unavailable, limited in capacity, and subject to limited availability or closure.

Disney is strongly recommending that all guests and Cast Members wear a face covering in all indoor locations at Disneyland in the parks and resorts. It is optional to wear face coverings in outdoor common areas.

Aulani's Know Before You Go

Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Ko Olina Hawaii, has reopened their doors and is once again welcoming guests and owners to their resort.  As part of their phased reopening, rooms, experiences, restaurants, amenities, and other offerings may be modified or unavailable, limited in capacity, and subject to limited availability or closure. Offerings are not guaranteed. 

Disney has taken enhanced health and safety measures. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.

There are specific instructions and requirements for all visitors to Hawaii, which may include mandated quarantine or pre-travel testing. View information about these requirements on the Hawaii Tourism Authority Website; https://www.gohawaii.com/safe-travels

Narcoossee's Refurbishment at Disney's Grand Floridian

Beginning July 14th 2022 Narcoossee's restaurant will be closed while it undergoes refurbishment. Disney expects the location to re-open with an enhanced dining experience early next year. 

Ka Maka Pool & Grotto Refurbishment at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

Ka Maka Pool and Grotto, including Ka Maka whirlpool spa, will be unavailable from December 5 - 9, 2022. Guests can enjoy any of the other fun water features that will be available, including Waikolohe Pool and Stream, two exhilarating water slides, multiple whirlpool spas, Keiki Cove splash zone, and Wailana Pool.

Ongoing Refurbishment at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is undergoing refurbishment. While all Resort amenities remain available throughout the refurbishment, you may be able to see and hear construction during daytime hours. No estimated completion date has been released by Disney at this time.

Congress Park and Treehouse Villas Pool Refurbishments at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

From October through mid-December 2022, the Congress Park leisure pool and the Treehouse Villas leisure pool will be closed for refurbishment. However, the High Rock Springs Pool, The Paddock Pool, and The Grandstand Pool will remain open for your enjoyment. You may see and hear construction noise while this refurbishment is underway, but you should not hear noise from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Pool Refurbishment at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Beginning January 2023 through late March 2023, the High Rock Springs Pool and On the Rocks Pool Bar at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort& Spa will be closed for refurbishment. However, the Paddock Pool and other leisure pools will remain open for guests to enjoy throughout this refurbishment.

Disney Skyliner Temporary Route Closures - Disney's Riviera Resort

From Sunday January 22nd through Sunday January 29th, 2023, all lines of the Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine maintenance. Disney bus transportation will be provided for guests visiting Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios during this time.
