Guests should allow for additional travel time during runDisney marathon events, due to some road closures that may be in effect. The dates of these events can be found here: https://dvcrequest.com/information/upcoming-disney-events

As Disney works on the expansion of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, guests will be able to see and hear construction at certain times of day. To minimize disruptions, activities that may create noise will not start earlier than 9:00 AM. Now through 2026, additional portions of the resort hotel will be undergoing refurbishment, subject to operational needs or weather conditions.The ongoing enhancements may impact views of the theme park and other surrounding areas.

From September 2024 through September 2025, room refurbishment work will take place in Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The Skyway Bridge between Bay Lake Tower and Contemporary Resort may be intermittently closed during the refurb, so please allow additional time for travel. Guests will see and hear construction work throughout Bay Lake Tower during these refurbishments.

From January 12 through January 25, 2025, Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort will be closed for refurbishment. All other dining locations at this resort will remain open for your enjoyment.

The Courtyard leisure pool and Courtyard pool bar at Disney's Grand Floridian are scheduled to be closed from January 13, 2025, through late February 2025, for routine maintenance on the Courtyard Pool building. Guests may see and hear construction work during daytime hours. The Beach Pool and Beach Pool Water Play Area remain open for your enjoyment.

From January 2025 through June 2025, Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. The Tidal and Dunes Cove leisure pools will remain open and available during this time.

From mid-May 2025 to September 2025, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo refurbishment. While all Resort amenities will remain available, you may notice refurbishment work during daytime hours.

From September 2025 through March 2026, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will undergo exterior maintenance. The ongoing enhancements may impact views from several places within the resort, and guests may see and hear refurbishment work during daytime hours. The Big Dipper Pool is closed for maintenance from January 13, 2025, expected to reopen on January 18, 2025. The Beach House Pool is closed for maintenance from January 20, 2025 to the end of February. The Big Dipper Spa and Kiddie Pool will remain open throughout.

From January 26, 2026 to early May 2026, the Bay Cove Pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily be closed for maintenance. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool and the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy.
